Educational Program
Our program provides
- Small group activities designed to develop a sense of care and respect for others as well as a healthy self image.
- Active play and exercise to enhance physical development and gross motor skills.
- Activities such as stories, drama, poetry, music and movement to stimulate imagination.
- Activities to encourage curiosity, experimentation and language development.
- A staff/child ratio to permit each child the individual attention she/he requires.
- Activities with multimedia (paint, sand, paper, crayons, water, dough, etc) to enhance the development of fine motor skills, creativity and self expression.
- A positive and accepting environment in which to safely develop the social behaviours which lead to independence and self control.
- Individual programming based on the developmental needs and interests of each child
- Friendly individual interaction with staff members.
- Many activities specifically designed to prepare children for a smooth transition to school
Parents are invited to contribute to the program with suggestions and ideas or by participating in a variety of ways.
